Ocean Freight Import Operation Process

Pre-Alert & ETA Monitoring

Import operations begin with receiving the pre-alert from the origin agent, followed by close monitoring of the vessel’s Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA), berthing schedules, and feeder vessel connections.

Unstuffing & Reporting

For LCL (Less than Container Load) shipments, cargo is monitored during unstuffing, and detailed reports are shared with the origin agent. For ICD shipments, arrangements are made for on-carriage by rail.

Customs & Documentation

The Import General Manifest (IGM) is submitted online. All necessary documents are checked, tallied, and finalized for customs submission.

Billing & Delivery Order (D/O)

Invoices are prepare Invoices are prepared, and once charges are cleared, the Delivery Order is being generated or collected from the shipping line. Finalization & File Closing

After payment confirmation, the file is closed. Proof of Delivery (POD) is sent to the origin agent, and records are verified to ensure compliance and completion.
